From “Acala” to Fudō Myōō — The Immovable One

The name “Fudō Myōō” comes from the Sanskrit Acala, meaning “Immovable One.”

His fierce face isn’t about hatred — it’s about compassion in disguise, a divine scolding meant to awaken us from our ignorance.
